Word cards: 999 picture words in five languages
Word cards are part of the Dino Kids app: each card has a picture of something familiar and its word in English, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean and Chinese (with pinyin). The 999 words are grouped into 26 topics from a young child’s everyday life. Use this page to preview them, read them with your child, or print them out as cards.
In the app every card is read aloud in all five languages: swipe to a card and it reads the first line, tap a line to hear that one. Free, no ads, no in-app purchases.

Word cards in the Dino Kids app
- One big card at a time: a picture and its words; ◀ ▶ buttons for children who can’t swipe yet.
- Read aloud in five languages: moving to a card reads its first line, tapping a line reads it, tapping the picture reads every line in turn.
- Only the languages your child learns: you choose them in your child’s profile, and the language of the subject they opened comes first.
- Review brings back cards your child has seen, the least-seen first.
Install Dino Kids so your child can swipe through the cards, hear each word in English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Vietnamese, and review the cards they have seen. Colouring, handwriting, phonics, folk tales, maths and piano are in the same app. Free, no ads, no in-app purchases.
