Dino Kids

Terms of Use

Effective 11 September 2026

We have tried to write this in English you can read once and understand, rather than the kind only a lawyer finishes. It is short, because the app is free and there is nothing here we are selling you.

The 30-second version

  • The app is free — no subscription, no in-app purchases.
  • Artwork, recordings and everything else your family makes stays yours.
  • We store and transmit it only to sync between your own devices.
  • This is a learning aid, not a replacement for teachers and not an assessment of your child.

1. Who these terms are between

This is an agreement between Digi Dinos Joint Stock Company (“we”) and the adult who installs or uses the Dino Kids app (“you”). Installing or using the app means you accept these terms. An account is optional: every lesson works without signing in, and this agreement still applies when you use the app that way.

Dino Kids is a learning app for children aged three and over. Children are not a party to this agreement. The adult who installs the app — with or without an account — is responsible for the child's use of it and must be of legal age where they live.

2. How the app is distributed

Dino Kids is published free on the App Store for iPad and iPhone, and on Google Play for Android phones and tablets. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase, and no content that has to be paid for to be opened.

The licence granted to you is personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable, for use within your own family. You may not resell, rent or redistribute the app or your account to anyone else.

If you download from the App Store: downloading and installing the app is also subject to Apple's terms for App Store users. The app is licensed under Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement; where this document and Apple's terms differ about distribution through the App Store, Apple's terms apply.

Apple is not a party to this agreement. The agreement is between you and us only. Apple has no obligation to support or maintain the app — every question, fault or claim about the app, including product liability and intellectual property claims, should come to us at the address in section 10. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you.

If you download from Google Play: downloading and installing the app is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is likewise not a party to this agreement and has no obligation to support or maintain the app — every question, fault or claim about the app should come to us at the address in section 10.

3. Your account

You can use the whole app without an account. This section applies only if you choose to create one so that data syncs between your own devices.

4. What your family creates

Artwork, adult voice recordings, profile names, the praise wording you write and anything similar are yours. We claim no ownership over them.

You permit us to store, transmit and process that content only as far as running the app requires — specifically, to sync between your own devices and to back up. Beyond that:

You may only record and upload a voice you have the right to — your own, or one whose owner has agreed.

How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. The app's own content

The software, lessons, drawings, model voices and all other content in the app belong to us or to those who licensed it to us. You may use them inside the app, but not copy, extract or redistribute them outside it.

Some content is based on open sources, and their licences continue to apply:

6. Acceptable use

When using Dino Kids, you agree not to:

If your account breaches the above, we may suspend or end your access. Unless there is an urgent safety or legal reason, we give notice first and state why.

7. The app changes over time

Dino Kids is under continuous development, and there is much we still want to add. Features may be added, changed or removed. We try not to lose data you have created, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be available or always keep its current shape.

We may discontinue the service altogether. If we do, we will give reasonable notice so that you can export your data.

8. No warranty

The app is provided “as is”. To the extent the law permits, we give no warranty, express or implied, that the app is free of faults, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose.

Please note that this is a learning aid, not a substitute for teaching by an adult or a school. The handwriting scoring and the speech recognition are not perfectly accurate: they can be wrong in both directions. Results in the app are not an assessment of a child's ability.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damage arising from use of the app, including loss of data, loss of opportunity or business interruption.

This clause does not exclude liability that the law does not allow to be excluded, including liability for our intent or gross negligence.

10. Governing law and contact

This agreement is governed by the laws of Vietnam. The parties will seek to settle any dispute by negotiation before bringing it before a competent court in Vietnam.

The Vietnamese version is the binding original. The Japanese and English versions are for reference; where they differ, the Vietnamese version applies.

When there is a material change, we update this page and change the effective date at the top. If a change affects your rights, we also give notice by email to the registered address.

Any question about these terms should go to dinokids@digidinos.com.
